Picture omitted yesterday is attached Last night we went to the huge on-board theatre and watched a bloke do shadow portraits with his hands for nearly an hour - he did some 100 images of which very few were actually different, I have seen alot better. It seemed impolite to walk out but afterwards we all agreed that we should probably have done so. He started with a rabbit. Rain today - forecast temp 11 deg C Boat's clock went 1hr forward We are at sea all day doing 555 miles to Piraeus (Athens) John chose a new breakfast venue and set time at 8am (7am in old money) I awoke at ten minutes to and rushed to be there, everyone else was either late or didn't make it. Who cares ? We are on a trip ! Just learned that Jan & Sylvia get tea delivered at 6am and yet still managed to be 20 mins late. The older ones played ping pong on deck this morning. Rain now a storm and the sea is running a heavy swell, the computer is keeping the boat reasonably steady. My cabin on the top deck at the front is getting the full brunt of the storm and is quite noisy - anything loose on deck is flapping, the boys tied down the deck chairs and other loose items last night, clearly expecting trouble. |
